Do you have nursery and children’s church?
Yes, with some caveats.
We have nursery facilities available for your use during each service, but is only staffed on a by need basis. Children’s church is hosted every other Sunday morning, to allow the children to be introduced to worship services also.
What does your church believe?
Our constitution can be found on this site above and outlines our doctrine and beliefs. Simply put we believe that salvation comes from Jesus Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone.
What should I wear on Sunday morning?
Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at Westwood Heights! Some congregants will certainly wear their “Sunday Best” but you are likely to see others in casual wear and jeans. The most important thing is showing up ready to worship God.
Do you have a food pantry?
We partner with our sister church, Sandy Plains Baptist, who runs a food pantry ministry. Reach out with any questions and we can get you in touch with their staff.
How can I become a member?
Membership at Westwood Heights Baptist Church requires two things. A profession of faith in Jesus Christ and baptism by immersion.
I have mobility issues, can someone assist me in and out of the church?
Absolutely, we have ushers and members standing by to greet you and help you inside. If you need a little extra assistance let us know and we will be more than happy to help!
